Medikar Hospital Successfully Maintains Its “Baby-Friendly Hospital” Designation

Karabük Private Medikar Hospital has once again confirmed that it successfully maintains its “Baby-Friendly Hospital” designation following evaluations conducted under the Ministry of Health’s “Breastfeeding Promotion and Baby-Friendly Healthcare Facilities Program.” The hospital has earned a Certificate of Appreciation in this context.

Medikar Hospital, which prioritizes the health of mothers, infants, and children, was re-evaluated by national assessment teams for its practices in protecting, supporting, and promoting breastfeeding. The evaluations confirmed that the hospital fully meets all established criteria and continues its successful work in this area.

This significant achievement was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation presented by Karabük Provincial Health Director Op. Dr. İsmail Kara. The certificate was accepted on behalf of the hospital by Medical Director Dr. Mehmet Coşkun. The ceremony was also attended by Karabük Health Services Director Specialist Dr. Bekir Poçan and Deputy Director Dr. Nermin Seçilmiş, who congratulated the hospital administration.
